Château de Jonquières

Le « rosé by Val d’Orbieu » selection is the result of a quest for the best estate vineyards in order to create an authentic, refined collection. The wines are made in a pure style, combining freshness and intensity of flavours, and are fine examples of Val d’Orbieu’s skills and winemaking philosophy.

Owned by Val d’Orbieu, Château de Jonquières stands in the middle of Mediterranean garrigue scrubland, near Narbonne (ancient capital of the Gallo-Roman province). Formerly a Cistercian granary belonging to the Abbey of Fontfroide, Château de Jonquières is set in an idyllic location: a countryside of natural gorges and hills, a land of contrasts with terrain carved out by the wind.
